![]() ![]() If you have any trouble logging into your cPanel account, you can change your cPanel password by selecting the reset password link under the Work in Your Control Panel link. This will take you automatically into your cPanel account. The only way for you to send a large file, is to break it up into the parts that will usually pass most server meaning between 5 and 10 MB and then send the email describing to the recipient that you are sending in parts that they need to save into one folder and when all parts are there, usually the last or the first will need to be used that will reassemble the others. Within the hosting details box on your AMP home page, click on cPanel. You can then attach your 10GB file and send it, after the transfer hits the treshold on the remote side, it will break the connection with an error that the message exceeded its limits. You can configure your local to have absolutely no limit on the size of the message. you can setup your own mail server using pegasus () for windows or sendmail, postfix, etc. The limitation as you pointed out is on the servers the sending server and the receiving server. Other email clients have the capability that horde does not which is the email client when you configure it to send messages in parts no larger than 5MB and you attach a 30MB file. Given your formulation of your question with what you do not want to hear suggests that you have already heard the solution that would work only if horde was not the email client. Inevitably a limit of how large an attachment can be for horde to handle even with this modification. instead of throwing the error to go into a process where the attachment is added to an archive, the split with each part individually emailed. If you are adapt in php coding, you could consider modifying the horde large attachment handling. Īs Trenton pointed out, you would use another software that will split up an archive containing your large attachment into smaller portion that will then have to have each part attached to an email using horde. Unfortunately, I do not see an option that horde the email client, can handle the breakup of the attachment into parts that. Please check what limits there are on the destination, or use a smaller chunk of 5MB which will likely pass with most. Echo Trenton's with a slight modification, 24MB might still be larger than permitted by some. ![]()
